Frequently Asked Questions

I've been pulling for years—can you still help me effectively?

Yes. Many of my clients have struggled for years or decades. Hair pulling is rarely just a habit; it is often driven by internal physiological imbalances. With proper testing, tailored protocols, and steady support, finding significant relief and improvement is entirely possible, regardless of how long you have been struggling on your own.

I live in the US or Canada; can we still work?

Yes. My practice serves clients throughout the US, Canada, and globally through secure video calls. All appointments are held virtually, and I adjust for various time zones to ensure scheduling is simple. Testing options and professional-grade supplements can also be conveniently coordinated depending on where you reside.

How do I get my blood tests done for your analysis?

You can provide recent labs ordered by your primary doctor within the last 3 to 6 months, or I can give you a list of specific markers to request. Once you have the results, you simply upload them to your client portal before our session so that I can provide a comprehensive and detailed analysis during your consultation.

What specific blood tests should I ask for?

I provide a full list of markers after you book your session to share with your GP. This panel usually includes a full blood count, iron studies, electrolytes, liver and kidney function, cholesterol, vitamins D and B12, folate, thyroid markers, and inflammation levels. This helps us assess your nutrient status, immune function, and stress patterns thoroughly.

Do you work with children?

Yes. I support both children and adults. For younger clients, protocols are carefully tailored to their age, size, and development. I collaborate closely with parents to ensure that every recommendation is gentle, practical, and easy to sustain within a busy family routine while maintaining a compassionate and encouraging environment.

What if my child is a picky eater or cannot take any tablets?

This is a very common concern and something we can easily manage. Many protocols can be modified using liquid formulas, powders, or chewables that can be stirred into favorite foods. I prioritize child-friendly strategies that make the plan realistic and low-stress for your family to implement and maintain long-term.

What if my child feels afraid of a blood test?

While blood work is helpful, it is not mandatory. We can begin with a deep dive into symptom history and foundational nutritional support. We can also explore less invasive functional tests such as hair tissue mineral analysis, organic acids testing, or markers that utilize different collection methods to ensure your child feels safe.

How soon will I begin to notice real changes?

Most clients see positive shifts within 4 to 8 weeks, often in areas like sleep quality, digestion, and the intensity of their urges. However, lasting and deep-rooted change in hair-pulling behaviors usually takes a few months as we systematically work through rebuilding nutrient stores, supporting the gut, and regulating the nervous system.

How much do the supplements cost?

Supplement costs vary based on your personal protocol and specific health needs. Some clients require only a few basics monthly, while those with more complex needs might see a higher initial investment. We always work together to prioritize the most impactful tools while staying mindful of your budget and goals.

Is there a guarantee this approach will work for us?

In healthcare, there are no absolute guarantees because every body responds uniquely. However, I can guarantee a thorough, evidence-based, and compassionate approach that goes beyond the surface to find the root cause. Most clients experience meaningful progress, which is typically driven by consistency, individual physiology, and patience.
