Parents Supporting Trichy Kids
Practical guidance. Trich-specific education. A community that gets it.
Supporting a child with Trichotillomania can be confusing.
-
What should you say?
-
Should you mention the pulling?
-
When should you step in and when should you step back?
-
And what if there’s more contributing to their pulling than you realise?
Parents Supporting Trichy Kids gives you a place to learn, ask questions and feel more confident supporting your child.

BEFORE

AFTER
What if there’s more behind the pulling?
• Look beyond the behaviour.
• Understand what may be contributing.
• Learn how to better support your child's body.
Because sometimes, changing what’s happening underneath can change what we see on the outside.
Stop Googling Trich and Trying to Figure It All Out Yourself.
When your child has Trichotillomania, it can feel like every new stage brings another question. What worked last month may not work now and it can be difficult to know whether you should intervene, investigate something further, or simply give them space.
Parents Supporting Trichy Kids gives you an ongoing place to learn, ask questions and get practical guidance as you navigate Trich with your child.
“You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need somewhere reliable to turn when the next question comes up.”
What changes when you feel more confident supporting your child?
You’ll understand Trich differently.
Instead of focusing only on stopping the pulling, you’ll begin to understand the different factors that may influence your child’s urges and behaviours.
You’ll feel more confident about how to respond.
Learn when to talk about the pulling, when to step back, what may be worth investigating and practical ways you can support your child without making Trich the focus of family life.
You’ll stop having to work it all out alone.
When something changes or a new question comes up, you’ll have somewhere to bring it — with ongoing education, monthly Q&A and a community that understands.

Less Googling. Less second-guessing. More understanding. And somewhere to turn when you need it.
You Don’t Have to Navigate Your Child’s Trich Alone.
When your child has Trichotillomania, there are so many questions that come up along the way and Google doesn’t always give you the answers you need.
Parents Supporting Trichy Kids gives you a place to keep learning, ask questions and get practical Trich-specific guidance as your child’s needs change.
You’ll have ongoing access to monthly sessions with Laura, helpful resources and a community of families navigating Trich too; so when something new comes up, you have somewhere to turn.
“Her pulling urges dramatically reduced…” “We finally felt like we had a plan…” “For the first time, I understood what was happening in my body…”

300+ TRICH CLIENTS | 10+ YEARS RESEARCHING TRICH + NUTRITION | CLINICAL NUTRITIONIST | LIVED EXPERIENCE
CLINICAL NUTRITIONIST & Trichotillomania SPECIALIST
Hi, I’m Laura
I’m a Clinical Nutritionist, Trichotillomania Specialist and former hair puller. I lived with Trich for 26 years and have spent more than 10 years researching the connection between nutrition, the body and Trichotillomania.
Since then, I’ve worked with more than 400 people with Trichotillomania, including many children and their families.
And one thing I’ve learned is that supporting a child with Trich is about so much more than trying to get them to stop pulling.
Parents often have just as many questions as their children:
What should I say? Should I mention the pulling? What could be triggering it? Could something physical be contributing? How can I help without making them feel watched or pressured?
I created Parents Supporting Trichy Kids to give parents somewhere to bring those questions and continue learning as their child grows and their Trich changes.
I’ve lived Trich. I’ve researched it. And now I want to help you better understand and support your child.

Stop Trying to Figure Out Your Child’s Trich on Your Own.
If you’ve been navigating Trich for a while, chances are you’ve already spent hours Googling, reading conflicting advice, trying different strategies and wondering whether you’re doing the right thing.
You don’t need another person telling you to “just get them to stop.”
You need somewhere you can learn more about Trich, understand what may be contributing to your child’s pulling, ask questions when they come up, and get practical guidance from someone who understands it.
With Parents Supporting Trichy Kids, you’ll have:
-
No more relying on random Google searches.
-
No more trying to piece together conflicting Trich advice.
-
No more feeling like you have to have all the answers yourself.
-
A place to learn, ask questions and keep coming back to as your child’s needs change.

JOIN PARENTS SUPPORTING TRICHY KIDS
Who is Parents Supporting Trichy Kids for?
This membership is for parents and caregivers of children with Trichotillomania who want to better understand their child’s pulling and feel more confident about how to support them. Whether your child has only recently started pulling or you’ve been navigating Trich for years, you’re welcome here.
You’ll receive immediate access to the private membership area, including the parent community, available resources and the previous four months of recorded sessions. You can start exploring straight away and join Laura for the next monthly live session.
What happens when I join?
What happens during the monthly sessions?
Each month, Laura will explore a Trich-related topic and answer questions from members. Topics may include nutrition, pulling patterns, anxiety, sensory needs, supplements, blood tests, gut health, food triggers, school, responding to pulling and other issues that commonly come up when supporting a child with Trich. You can submit questions before the session, so you don’t have to attend live to benefit.
What if I can't attend the live session?
That's absolutely fine. All sessions are recorded and added to the membership library so you can watch them whenever it suits you.
Can I ask Laura questions about my child?
Yes. Members can submit questions for the monthly Q&A sessions.
The membership provides general education and guidance rather than individual clinical care, so if your child needs personalised assessment, testing or an individual treatment protocol, Laura can explain the options available for working together privately.
Is this a program my child needs to participate in?
Parents Supporting Trichy Kids is primarily for you, the parent. Your child doesn't need to watch modules, attend calls or complete homework. The aim is to give you greater knowledge, practical strategies and confidence so you can better support them.
Do I have to stay for a certain amount of time?
No. Your membership is $27 USD per month and you can cancel anytime. Stay for as long as the education, community and ongoing guidance are useful to your family.
